The 60's style Photos

the ’60s was an era of innovation, new thinking and freedom. Fashion in the ’60s emphasized on simplicity, youthfulness, and neatness. The ’60s fashion was extremely affected by the youth who just left school and got jobs. They spent their wages on clothes and music they favored.

There were three main phases of the ’60s fashion. In the early part of this decade, fashion just followed the trends of the late 50′s such as the full skirt and Chanel suits. Afterwards, the mini-skirts were coming up as the Mary Quant and Vidal Sassoon looks. By the end of the decade, the hippy look with long hair, kaftans and flared jeans became more prevalent.
